The project includes coordination with the stakeholders (today’s meeting is a part of), conducting a survey on 1800 laborers throughout Dohuk governorate, conduction of 20 focus group discussion meetings with the stakeholders, developing and printing 1500 handouts of survey analysis, main findings and feedback of focus group discussion meetings and finally arranging 20 meetings with the decision makers and stakeholders. The project also aims to set up a durable mechanism to monitor the implementation of labor law after completion of the project. The attendants were precisely briefed on the project, the project activities and stages, and discussed the survey questionnaire form and distributed the tasks amongst the stakeholders. The comments raised during the meeting on the questionnaire form were discussed thoroughly and respective amendments agreed upon were made on the form.
